2014 Internal Medicine Abstract Competition Winners
Special congratulations to Srinivasa Madhavan, MD, University of North Dakota Program, Grand Forks, ND, who was a winner in the Resident/Fellow Abstract Presentation category at Internal Medicine 2014. The winning poster title was "Effects of change in fibrinogen on cardiovascular disease and all-cause mortality".
Congratulations also go to Abhilash Perisetti, MBBS, University of North Dakota Program, Grand Forks, ND, who was also a winner in the Resident/Fellow Abstract Presentation category at Internal Medicine 2014. The winning poster title was "Colorectal Cancer Screening Use Among Insured Individuals: Is cost a barrier to routine screenings?".
Mary Wakefield, PhD, RN receives National ACP Award
Mary Wakefield, PhD, RN of Grand Forks, North Dakota received the Joseph F. Boyle Award for Distinguished Public Service during the Internal Medicine Meeting in Orlando, FL in April 2014. Congratulations!
