International Council

Reports to:

Board of Regents

Advise the Board of Regents on strategic direction that will enable the College to actively participate in the international medical community and to consolidate and coordinate international leadership, input and direction for the College, and provide a direct link between international leadership and the BOR.

From the pool of interested Governors, the Chair, Board of Governors, will recommend to the Governance Committee the new Governors to be appointed to the council with an eye toward maintaining geographic and Governor class diversity.

Governors serve one, two-year term, with possible reappointment of one year (maximum term 3 years and no longer than term of Governor).

Regent members serve for the duration of their term as Regent (4-year term); at-large members serve two years with possible reappointment one year.
