Kudos to our New Masters!

John E. Nestler, MD, MACP (Norfolk) and Mitchell H. Rosner, MD, MACP (Charlottesville) Were awarded Mastership of the College at the Convocation ceremony during ACP Internal Medicine 2017. To be considered for Mastership, the candidate must have made a notable contribution to medicine. This includes but is not limited to teaching, outstanding work in clinical medicine (research or practice), contributions to preventive medicine, improvements in the delivery of health care, or contributions to medical literature.


Chapter Member Receive National Awards

Congratulations to Paul E. Marik, MBBCh, M. Med., FACP who received the ACP Award for Outstanding Educator of Residents and Fellows Award.  National awards were presented presented during Convocation at Internal Medicine 2017.


New Fellows and Members

The Chapter recognizes and congratulates physicians who have been elected to Fellowship in the College in the past six months as well as welcomes its new members.
