2016 Internal Medicine Abstract Competition Winners

Special congratulations to Sanah Christopher, MBBS, from Virginia Commonwealth University Health System in Richmond, who was a winner in the Resident/Fellow Clinical Vignette Poster category at the Internal Medicine 2016 Abstract Competition. The poster title was "Effects of Prolastin C (Plasma-Derived Alpha-1 Antitrypsin) on the Acute Inflammatory."


Chapter Members Receive National Awards

Congratulations to Jeffery P. Harris, MD, MACP who received the Alfred Stengel Memorial Award for Outstanding Service to the American College of Physicians. National awards will be presented presented during Convocation at Internal Medicine 2016.

Congratulations to Apostolos P. Dallas, MD, FACP who received the Oscar E. Edwards Memorial Award for Volunteerism and Community Service. National awards will be presented presented during Convocation at Internal Medicine 2016.

Congratulations to April S. Fitzgerald, MD, FACP who received the Herbert S. Waxman Award for Outstanding Medical Student Educator. National awards will be presented presented during Convocation at Internal Medicine 2016.
