(December 2021) A summary of Board of Regents (BOR) actions on resolutions debated at the Fall 2021 Board of Governors (BOG) virtual meeting is now available. Resolutions initiated by ACP members and endorsed by a chapter council and the BOG become ACP policy when adopted by the BOR.

If you have an idea you'd like to suggest to ACP, consider submitting a resolution to our chapter.

Congratulations New Utah Chapter Fellows

  • Miklos Z Molnar, MD PhD FACP
  • Shulun Zang, MD FACP

(December 2021) Congratulations to the Utah Chapter's newest Fellows. Fellowship in the College is an honor. Being an FACP® is a distinction earned from colleagues who recognize your accomplishments and achievements over and above the practice of medicine. The most important considerations for ACP Fellowship are excellence and contributions made to both medicine and to the broader community in which the internist lives and practices.

New ACP Utah Chapter Club on Strava wellness app

(April 2021) We are happy to announce our Chapter has started a club page on Strava. To find us, search for Utah American College of Physicians in the club section of the app or go to www.strava.com/clubs/UtahACP. Strava is a social fitness tracking app that also links with other tools like Garmin, Fitbit, Zwfit, Peloton, and many others. It allows you to track and share cycling or running routes, as well as track other activities like skiing, weight training, and even rock climbing. The app is free, although there are more advanced options with a subscription. This has motivational applications for competition, inspiration, and fitness with the ability to connect with others and share routines, routes, and activities. Although we aren't yet able to meet in person, we are hopeful we can develop a sense of community through Strava and sharing our fitness achievements in our club. We are looking forward to receiving inspiration from seeing our members' achievements in the future!
