Voting for the next Governor-elect begins September 27, 2024, and concludes on November 1, 2024.
Eligible voting members (MACPs, FACPs, Members, and 2-year Resident/Fellow Members with an elect date of 9/1/2022 or earlier) will receive an election email containing their unique and personal voting credentials to vote online.
- Ballot materials are not sent from ACP directly. ACP has partnered with Survey & Ballot Systems (SBS) to conduct the election.

Candidate Bios
Candidate Statement: I have been a member in the Southeastern Pennsylvania chapter of the American College of Physicians (ACP) since my residency. The chapter has been a grounding community for me and professional growth. As a Division Head of a large academic Internal Medicine group, I have a deep understanding that advocacy for patients and physicians is fundamental to the growth and sustainability of our profession. Serving as a council member and participating in Gender Equity work through the Philadelphia Agreement has been an honor. My goal as Governor is to lead policy changes to improve the practice of Internal Medicine for physicians and patients. My mission is to foster an inclusive environment in the chapter. Regardless of background all members will have a sense of belonging and engagement in our ACP community. A diverse, cohesive membership will enable us to innovate in our practices and better address professional challenges.

Candidate Statement: At my 2009 Fellowship Ceremony I remember standing shoulder to shoulder with hundreds of other physicians from all over the world who had made an identical commitment to preserving the wellness of adult patients. It was a truly magical experience that has never left me. That day continues to inspire my love for the ACP and passion for supporting Pennsylvania's IM physicians. Over the next decade, that desire to serve has been translated into years of strong advocacy on the PA-ACP's council, volunteer work on the Scientific Committee, and a particular devotion to medical education and CME in the State of Pennsylvania. The opportunity to serve as Governor would allow me to continue my passion for representing the needs of Pennsylvania’s internists on the state and national stage. In this role I commit to providing boundless energy, outstanding communication skills, and a strong focus on the needs of our members.
