The Maryland and DC Chapters Leadership Day activities were once again a great success. We were able to visit our entire Congressional delegation. We shared with them some of the areas of concern we are hoping to see addressed during the upcoming year, including:
- reducing the high cost of prescription drugs
- addressing excessive administrative tasks on physician and our patients
- stabilizing the health insurance market
- implementing meaningful reforms to address firearms-related injury and death
Thanks to those who took time from their own very busy schedules to spend a day on Capitol Hill, especially our team leaders, Drs. Steve Sisson, Steve Kravet and Holly Dahlman.
