For the Maryland Chapter, Internal Medicine Meeting 2016 was a banner year. We had over 50 new Fellows march in Convocation. We hosted a highly-attended tri-state reception with the Virginia and DC Chapters (almost 250 attendees). Residents from Baltimore’s MedStar Harbor Hospital Doctor’s DilemmaSM team made it to the final heat of this year's contest. All in one week!
Congratulations to Dr. Michael Barr, who is now a Master, and Dr. April Fitzgerald, who received the Herbert S. Waxman Award for Outstanding Medical Student Educator during Convocation. Our Chapter is very proud of its accomplishments and hopes that you will take just a few minutes to look at the wonderful pictures by our own Dr. Saeed Khan.
Congratulations to our new Fellows, our new Master, and all of our members who were able to participate in IM2016.
