  4. Complete an ABIM SEP Module toward partial fulfillment of the ABIM’s Maintenance of Certification.

The Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania provides AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ for completion of most ABIM Medical Knowledge activities. To receive CME, just answer and submit the online survey that appears when you have successfully completed the activity. Indicate the number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ you are claiming from the maximum allowed, as outlined below. Only ABIM products are eligible for CME credit through this program.

The Perelman School of Medicine designates each of these enduring materials for a maximum of 10 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

ABIM encourages you to claim your CME credit as soon as you successfully complete a Medical Knowledge activity. For products in which you do not claim credit immediately upon completion, a link to the online survey will remain in your Physician Portal on the My Activities page. You must claim CME credit before the posted CME credit expiration date that appears in each activity. Sign in to view your individualized CME report that summarizes the ABIM activities for which you have claimed CME credit.

FAQ

Due to rapidly escalating health concerns related to the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), our chapter has come to the difficult decision to move to virtual for the 2021 meeting. In the spirit of our chapter values to “adapt and overcome,” we have decided to move to a virtual event.

How do I find and access which sessions will be virtual?

The entire meeting will be virtual. We will add a link for the audience to join virtual sessions in Virtual Meeting Hub. Only registered attendees who are logged in will be able to access these links.

I cannot access my ACPonline account or I do not have an ACPonline account.

If you have any difficulty accessing your ACP account, you can reset your username and password. You can do so by clicking on the MyACP link at the top of the ACP web site. Nonmembers are advised to use their e-mail address as their username when creating a password. If you require additional assistance, please contact us (M-F, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET) via web chat or call 800-ACP-1915 or 215-351-2600 or via e-mail at help@acponline.org

Will attendees be able to ask questions or participate in the session, or is the session just going to consist of streamed presentations?

We are aiming to make options available that include attendee interaction options like a live chat window and/or polling. We would like for sessions to be interactive when possible and desired.

Will sessions be recorded and archived for later consumption?

The sessions will be recorded and available for playback for one year.

For other questions about the virtual meeting, contact Sarah M. Wardrop at 225-364-9480 or laacpchaptermeeting@gmail.com .
