Candidate Statement:
It would be my honor to represent the Louisiana Chapter on the Board of Governors. As a career-long member of the Louisiana chapter, I have grown to appreciate the tremendous role that ACP can play in educational support, career development, clinical practice guidance, advocacy and mentorship. I hope to foster continued chapter growth from all areas of the state, from all demographics of membership. My roles at the state and national ACP level helped me gain a more in-depth perspective on the broad range of needs our members have and the wealth of resources ACP offers in support. I feel it is imperative for our Louisiana chapter members to be heard and have their specific needs addressed -- finding common issues with which we all struggle, and finding unique perspectives each member may bring to the discussion! I look forward to the privilege to serve as your voice and advocate!
