Please make plans to attend your American College of Physicians - Illinois Chapter IM 2018 on Friday and Saturday, November 9-10, 2018, at the Embassy Suites Riverfront Hotel and Conference Center, East Peoria, Illinois. Meeting registration is open NOW. The theme for the Scientific Meeting is “Practical Solutions for the Practice of Medicine.”
In addition to earning Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits and Maintenance of Certification MOC) points to meet requirements for your medical license and recertification, the Illinois Chapter Scientific Meeting offers you an excellent opportunity to network with long-time friends and meet new colleagues from around the state. The meeting incorporates a variety of resources that will help you stay up-to-date in your medical knowledge and learn ways to avoid burnout so you can deliver the best care to your patients.
On Friday, November 9, our meeting includes plenary presentations, panel discussions, and interactive workshops. We are thrilled to present our accomplished speakers in a variety of breakout sessions along tracks focused on general internal medicine, subspecialty medicine, and physician wellness. We will also offer Nephrology and Pulmonary Medicine Updates for the Internist.
On Saturday, November 10, in addition to scientific sessions in the morning, we will conduct two Maintenance-of-Certification Modules in Internal Medicine and Hospital Medicine. This year, we will also offer simulation training in point-of-care-ultrasound.
