Due to rapidly escalating health concerns related to the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), our chapter has come to the difficult decision to move to virtual for the 2020 meeting. In the spirit of our chapter values to “adapt and overcome,” we have decided to move to a virtual event.

How do I find and access which sessions will be virtual?

Sessions will be marked on the Chapter Web site as virtual. We will add a link for the audience to join virtual sessions in the virtual meeting hub. Only registered attendees who are logged in will be able to access these links.

Will attendees be able to ask questions or participate in the session, or is the session just going to consist of streamed presentations?

We are aiming to make options available that include attendee interaction options like a live chat window and/or polling. We would like for sessions to be interactive when possible and desired.

Will sessions be recorded and archived for later consumption?

All CME lectures will be recorded and available for on Demand Access and Enduring Material until April 2021. There will be a link from the chapter’s website to the lecture recording. Lectures will be available As of October 24, 2020. Questions from attendees will be forwarded to faculty to respond after the lectures.

SEP MOC Modules

The SEP MOC Modules will be live streamed on Saturday, October 24. The 2020 Updates on Internal Medicine and Hospital Medicine will be provided. There is a separate registration for the SEP MOC modules.
