The DC CYP will be offering a coding seminar on October 9 at the
Washington Marriott (1221 12th St NW) beginning at 6:00 p.m. Title
of this event is: "Complete and Compliant Documentation for
This coding class is particularly for hospitalists. This will be
a more advanced class with a speaker who is tuned in with inpatient
coding. Topics to be covered are examples of different levels of
care, admission notes and progress notes. Information on what are
considered high risk medications for which toxicity monitoring is
recommended and a list of high risk diagnoses that would qualify a
patient as high risk.
