CANDIDATE STATEMENT: It is a tremendous honor to be nominated as
a candidate for the Governor of the Delaware ACP Chapter. I joined
the chapter soon after coming to Delaware 13 years ago, and have
been consistently impressed by the clinical excellence,
collegiality and scholarly activity of our members and associates.
As Governor, I aim to support our members in the changing world of
maintenance of certification in Internal Medicine, by delivering
medical knowledge and practice improvement content in novel
settings and convenient, high-yield formats. I look forward to
bringing pragmatic clinical resources to our internists to enhance
their everyday practice. Attracting new members is essential to
growing the depth and diversity of our chapter, and I would like to
establish a mentorship program that matches our members with
resident physicians and students. I want to advocate for our
members, positioning the ACP to serve as the unified voice of
internists in Delaware, and ultimately aim to raise the recognition
for the dedicated care that we provide.
