    Welcome to the Alaska Chapter ACP web site. As the dancing moose on our home page signifies, Alaska is a little different from just about everywhere else. I regularly have moose in my yard, even though I live in Anchorage, Alaska's biggest city. I've even had a bear maul my car one evening when it was parked in the driveway with a bag of dog food in the trunk. So it goes in the life of an Alaskan internist.

    Our web site will give you an idea of our chapter's activities. We have a small chapter, but we have tried to be innovative. We hope you enjoy this web site, and welcome your comments and/or suggestions for improvements.
