Welcome to the Southeast Asian Chapter Governor, Alan Ng, MBBS, FACP. Dr. Ng will start his four-year term as Governor in the Spring of 2018. As Governor, Dr. Ng will serve as the official representative of the College for the Southeast Asia Chapter, providing a link between members at the local level and leadership at the national level. Certification: Completed training in Internal Medicine and specialty training in Respiratory Medicine.
Present Position: Senior Consultant, Dept. of Respiratory & Critical Care Medicine, Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH)
ACP Chapter Involvement/Leadership Activities: I was involved in the discussions and development of the framework for the Chapter when I was the president of the College of Physicians Singapore. We had discussed with the presidents of the respective colleges / internal medicine societies in South East Asia about establishing the Chapter in the region.
