ACP Chapter Involvement and Leadership Activities: Secretary of the Japan Chapter since 2013. Will participate in the two sessions in Japan Chapter Meeting 2017 in June. Have managed Japan Chapter receptions in the ACP annual meetings for ten years including this year's reception in San Diego. Laureate Award was given in June 2016.
ACP National Activities: Membership given on April 1st, 1996, and fellowship on January 1st, 2000. Have attended every ACP annual meeting since 1997 - so I've attended annual sessions 21 times in all (1997-2017).
Other Appointments/Activities: I worked as a committee member for " the Clinical Guideline of Male Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms and a Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (2017)" made by Japanese Urological Association (JUA), offering opinions from a point of view of an internist. (Published in April 2017) I participated in the guideline project with a recommendation from the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine (JSIM).
