Candidate Statement:
I am interested in optimizing the position of general internal medicine in our country, highlighting the role of national and international scientific societies in permanent professional development of internists, and its importance for the Colombian Health System functioning. My previous work as chapter president and member of the education committee to the Colombian Association of Internal Medicine has given to me needed experience and recognition to be able to develop this task.
