ACP Clinical Guidelines

Guidelines International Network 2016

ACP, along with Penn Medicine and ECRI Institute, co-hosted the Guidelines International Network (G-I-N) Annual Meeting in Philadelphia at the end of September. The meeting was a great success, with the largest attendance for any G-I-N conference ever held in the United States. 511 delegates from 36 countries participated in workshops and panel sessions, oral abstract presentations, and poster presentations centered on the scientific theme, “Individualized Guidance and Clinical Performance Measurement in an Era of Personalized Medicine.” Both ACP and Annals of Internal Medicine were well-represented at the meeting.

The G-I-N meeting provides an excellent opportunity for networking, learning, and collaborating within the guideline development, adaptation, and implementation field. Save the date for the next big G-I-N event: the first-ever Global Evidence Summit 2017, which is being co-hosted with 4 other leading organizations in evidence-based care and policy. The meeting will take place in Cape Town, South Africa from September 12-16, 2017.
