ACP Welcomes its new Director of International Programs
Marisa McCarren has joined ACP as the new Director of International Programs, assuming the role previously held by Jim Ott.
Marisa has more than 15 years of experience helping professional associations expand globally. Most recently she held the position of Senior Director of International Business at the American Marketing Association. Previous to that, she worked for the American College of Chest Physicians as Global Education and Development Senior Manager, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons as Manager of International Rights and Education Programs. In addition to her experience, Marisa holds a bachelor of arts degree in English from Catholic University of Buenos Aires and spent two years studying law at the University of Buenos Aires. She is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, and has a working knowledge of Italian and French.
