The 3rd annual SKMC Multispecialty Conference, G3 Variations in Disease Behavior was held December 9-10, 2016 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The meeting was endorsed by the American College of Physicians and James W. Reed, MD, MACP, FACE, FASH, was invited to serve as the ACP International Ambassador at this meeting. The meeting was attended by 600 delegates from across the region. As ACP Ambassador, Professor Reed presented two sessions: “Hypertension in Minorities,” and “Update in Diabetes in Minorities.” The ACP Gulf Chapter Governor, Essam Elsayed, MD, FACP, was also in attendance, and presented an ACP Update: American College of Physicians: Fostering Excellence and Professionalism in Internal Medicine.
