Effectiveness of the Intervention

The effectiveness of these interventions will be measured via brief pre- and post-exposure surveys, and a six-month follow-up. These surveys will measure awareness, attitudes, and self-reported change in safety behavior. This study will be a notable contribution to the field, as little research to date has been performed regarding safety attitudes of physicians in general, while still less work has been done in the area of ambulatory care. Thanks to the College's large membership and potential for wide dissemination, this project is poised to become the catalyst for a grass-roots change in ambulatory care safety.
