New, Expert Resources
Several new and innovative tools are now available. Free shipping and handling. The new tools include:

A patient education tool for placement in phlebotomy areas called The Adventure of the Lab Explorers: Sometimes When You Feel Bad, which aims to help patients understand the role of the clinical laboratory professional.

Performance Standards for Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing comes with updated tables for testing standards. This is a new resource from MLE in conjunction with the Clinical Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI). Available exclusively to MLE participants and ACP members.

E-mail Service on Waived Testing Devices
E-notification service EXCLUSIVE to MLE Participants A new, value-added service to provide and enhance the quality and safety of patient care. This e-notification service provides Class I and Class II recall information and field corrections pertaining to waived test devices. In addition to the recall e-notification service, MLE provides:
- Notification of changes or additions to the CMS list of waived laboratory tests.
- A wide array of cost-saving Waived Testing Modules for continued quality assurance at a lower cost.
- A reminder prompt for notifications involving
Microbiology tests, to ensure regulatory compliance for any remaining nonwaived analytes.

All Inclusive Annual Administration Fee
Due to increased administrative costs, the annual administration fee is now $75. However, this INCLUDES the Program Binder. To offset this fee, save $75 by recruiting a colleague. “Recruit 1, Waive 2” Program Overview. Or, you might be eligible for an ADVANTAGE discount. Details.
