CPCI Conference Call Series the week of June 25
Join CMS and local primary care physician leaders for an informative and interactive conference call to outline the key requirements and answer your questions about the new Comprehensive Primary Care Initiative taking place in your community. Under this new program, Medicare will work with commercial and State insurance plans and offer care management fees plus the opportunity for shared savings to primary care physicians who better coordinate care for their patients. For more details, including the detailed application for physician practices visit the CMMI website. The deadline for primary care practice applications is July 20. Interested practices in these regions should plan to participate in regional one-hour conference calls specific to each participating market (see schedule below).
Hosts and Presenters: CMS Innovation Center leadership and program staff and local leadership of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American College of Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association.
