CPCI Conference Call Series the week of June 25
Join CMS and local primary care physician leaders for an informative and interactive conference call to outline the key requirements and answer your questions about the new Comprehensive Primary Care Initiative taking place in your community. Under this new program, Medicare will work with commercial and State insurance plans and offer care management fees plus the opportunity for shared savings to primary care physicians who better coordinate care for their patients. For more details, including the detailed application for physician practices visit the CMMI website. The deadline for primary care practice applications is July 20. Interested practices in these regions should plan to participate in regional one-hour conference calls specific to each participating market (see schedule below).

- On Thursday February 14th at 2pm ET CMS is hosting a ACA Implementation Update to review the Physician Sunshine Rule and provide an update on the outreach and enrollment efforts for the new Marketplaces and how health care providers fit into that work.

- On Wednesday, January 9, HHS is hosting an Affordable Care Act Implementation Update for Clinicians, Hospitals and other Healthcare Providers. Gary Cohen, Director of the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight, will provide an overview of the recent Insurance Exchange regulations and guidance and discuss how it impacts clinicians and hospitals.
