ACP Leadership Day Grants Program
Funding Available for Early Career Physician, Resident/Fellow, and Medical Student Members to Attend Leadership Day 2014
Twenty-four grants of $750 each will be provided to Chapters to cover early career physician, resident/fellow, and medical student membersí expenses to attend Leadership Day 2014, being held May 21-22 in Washington, D.C. This program is funded by a grant provided by Pfizer to support advocacy development for young members. Eight grants are available for early career physician members, 8 grants are available for resident/fellow members, and 8 grants are available for medical student members.
The Guidelines for Awarding ACP Leadership Day Grants document contains information about the eligibility, criteria, and process for awarding the grants. To apply for a Leadership Day Grant, members must complete the application and submit it electronically by February 28, 2014. Each $750 grant will be given to the Chapter for the Governor to distribute.
