Abstract Competitions
ACP will be holding a National Abstracts Competition as part of Internal Medicine 2014. The meeting will take place April 10 - 12, 2014, in Orlando, Florida. The submission deadline each year for the national competitions is December 1.
ACP Chapters also hold abstract competitions. Compete at the local level.
American College of Physicians
Doctor’s Dilemma™
ACP's national medical jeopardy competition, ACP Doctor's Dilemma™, is held each year at ACP’s annual meeting. The competition pits champion against champion in a battle to final jeopardy. Up to 40 teams of residents and medical students from around the nation compete for the coveted title of national champion.
Council of Resident/Fellow Members
The ACP Council of Resident/Fellow Members currently represents the interests of over 22,000 residents and fellows-in-training.
Joseph E. Johnson Leadership Award
The Joseph E. Johnson Leadership Award recognizes a Resident/Fellow Member of the College who has demonstrated qualities that exemplify the College’s mission “to enhance the quality and effectiveness of health care by fostering excellence and professionalism in the practice of medicine.”

Leadership Enhancement and Development (LEAD) Program
ACP is committed to providing leadership development opportunities for its members and has established the LEAD Program to meet this objective. Our goal is to provide younger members first-hand experience and guidance from seasoned leaders in order to cultivate leadership skills that will benefit them, the College, and the internal medicine community.
Recruit-a-Resident Program
