ACP is committed to assisting residents prepare for the ABIM certification exam. The College offers resources that are recommended by many successful internists. ACP also provides information about USMLE passage and state requirements for graduation and licensure.

Board Basics 3 is compiled by physician educators with experience in preparing residents and practicing physicians for ABIM exams. Material is presented in a conversational, study-friendly format that will make the information efficient to memorize to help you prepare for the exam.

Virtual Dx -- Interpretive Challenges from ACP is a valuable resource for checking your diagnostic skills or preparing for the ABIM certifying exams. This online study program uses over 400 high-resolution, scalable images in 13 major categories to challenge you in a way no textbook can.
Internal Medicine In-Training Exam® (IM-ITE®)
The IM-ITE is designed to give residents an opportunity for self-assessment, allow program directors the opportunity to evaluate their programs, and identify areas in which residents need extra assistance.
