MKSAP 16
You can now earn up to 174 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ and up to 400 Medical Knowledge points under the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. This is a FREE service for MKSAP 16 subscribers who are registered with ABIM's MOC program. With MKSAP 16, you can earn CME credits, apply for MOC points, and prepare for the ABIM exam all at once, in a cost-efficient manner.
After scoring at least 50% correct on a test, you can now use our new online answer sheets to instantly submit for CME, MOC, or both, depending on your needs. No need to wait weeks to earn CME before qualifying for MOC. Simply complete MKSAP 16 tests and submit them directly to ABIM through the online answer sheets. Test records transfer immediately to the ABIM, and eligible diplomats' points are reported in their MOC records at ABIM within 1-3 days.

MKSAP 15 Updates
Each MKSAP 15 Update module is approved for 20 Medical Knowledge points under the ABIM Maintenance of Certification program.
Credit for the July 2010 Update is available from July 31, 2010 to July 31, 2013.
Credit for the January 2011 Update is available from January 15, 2011 to January 15, 2014.
Credit for the July 2011 Update is available from July 31, 2011 to July 31, 2014.
Credit for the January 2012 Update is available from January 15, 2012 to January 15, 2015.
How to use MKSAP 15 Updates for MOC
- Earn AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ by completing subspecialty tests in MKSAP 15 Updates and submitting them online.
- Go to the online MKSAP 15 MOC Submission Form, log in with your ACP Online username and password, and locate records of your completed CME tests in the online form. (Please allow 4 days after online CME test submission.) You can use any MKSAP 15 Update CME test record, as long as you are registered and eligible for MOC and you meet the deadlines listed above.
