If you are a member of the media and want to receive ACP or Annals of Internal Medicine news releases, please complete and submit the form below.
News releases are distributed by e-mail from the ACP Public Relations and Web Communications or Public Affairs Departments. This service is intended for members of the media only. Staff reporters may be asked to verify affiliations. Freelance reporters may be asked to submit verification of assignments or recent news clippings with bylines. ACP does not distribute media materials to public relations officers at PR firms/agencies, research institutions, colleges/universities, or others who are not accredited news outlets.
Embargo Policy
Annals of Internal Medicine is published on the first and third Tuesday of every month. All media materials are embargoed for 5:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern time the day before the date of publication. Advance information about articles in upcoming issues of Annals of Internal Medicine is provided to registered reporters as a service to them with the understanding that they will honor the embargo. Reporters who disregard the embargo policy can be penalized by no longer receiving advance information.
A "tip sheet" for Annals of Internal Medicine is distributed to registered media 5 to 7 days in advance of the publication date. News releases are periodically distributed on studies and articles of special interest. In addition, embargoed tip sheets and news releases are simultaneously posted on EurekAlert. Tip sheets and news release are posted on the Annals of Internal Medicine Web site.
