National Geographic Interviews Post Mortem Author
Author Philip A. Mackowiak, MD, FACP, talks about some of the puzzling medical cases --including Mozart, Beethoven, and Columbus -- in his book Post Mortem with National Geographic Weekend.
Post Mortem endeavors to solve some of history’s most perplexing medical mysteries. The book traces 3,500 years of the history of medicine from the perspective of what contemporary physicians thought about the diseases of famous patients and how they might have treated them.
