American College of Physicians launches new online policy library and redesigned advocacy section

Changes highlight breadth and depth of ACP's advocacy and policy resources

PHILADELPHIA, April 2, 2013 -- The American College of Physicians (ACP) today launched a redesigned advocacy section of its website to make it easier to view and find content about ACP's advocacy and public policy efforts. ACP also developed a new, searchable online policy library that enables easy access to all ACP public policy, clinical, educational, and ethical recommendations.

“These online changes improve the search function, navigation, and usability of our website,” said David L. Bronson, MD, FACP, president, ACP.

The new advocacy landing page features a tabbed menu highlighting ACP’s positions on important public policy issue, legislative action center, state health policy resources, upcoming advocacy events, and current policy papers. Visitors also can search a comprehensive policy library for ACP’s public policy, clinical, educational, and ethics recommendations.
