Medical Student Membership
ACP offers a free membership for medical school students. ACP Medical Student Members stand out among their peers as members of the largest medical specialty society, have the opportunity to explore the internal medicine profession, are granted free attendance at scientific meetings, receive a subscription to IMpact (a monthly online newsletter for medical students), and are eligible for substantial discounts on many of the College's programs, products, and services.
If you are a medical student enrolled in an LCME (Liaison Committee on Medical Education) or AOA (American Osteopathic Association) accredited medical school, you are invited to join the American College of Physicians free of charge.
If you are enrolled in a non-LCME or AOA accredited school, you are eligible for free membership if you meet the following requirements.
-
You are endorsed by your local ACP chapter
OR
-
Your medical school offers clinical clerkship rotations at an LCME (or equivalent) accredited institution.
