Winning Abstracts from the 2015 Medical Student Abstract Competition: ACP Celebrates Young Achievers

This month, more than 700 Medical Student Members, Resident/Fellow Members, and Early Career Physicians will attend ACP Internal Medicine 2015 as a result of being selected for an award or competition. Again this year, the College is coordinating several initiatives at the meeting to recognize and celebrate the achievements these younger members, who include:

  • Annals' Young Investigator Award Winners
  • ACP Doctor's Dilemma Competition Teams
  • National Abstract Competition Winners
  • National Abstract Competition Poster Finalists
  • Chapter Abstract Competition Winners (competing in the National Poster Finals)
  • National Award Winners
    • Herbert S. Waxman Award for Outstanding Medical Student Educator
    • Joseph E. Johnson Leadership Award
    • Walter J. McDonald Award for Young Physicians
  • Waxman Scholars

ACP Young Achievers are the next generation of leaders within internal medicine. They will be spotlighted throughout ACP Internal Medicine Meeting 2015, including at a reception on Saturday night that will immediately follow the championship game of ACP Doctor's Dilemma.
