Scientific Sessions

Associates Abstract Competition Presentations

Thursday
12:45–2:15 p.m.

Winners of the competition present their award-winning work in the Research and Clinical Vignette categories. Complimentary boxed lunches are provided. A book of winner and finalist abstracts is available at the presentations and in the Medical Student–Associate–Young Physician Hospitality Room. (Abstract presentations are not designated for CME credit.)

Medical Student–Associate Poster Area

Thursday–Saturday
9:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Finalists in the Medical Student and Associate Poster Competitions display their work in multiple poster sessions.

Other Scientific Sessions

A rich roster of workshops and other events in the scientific program are held just for medical students, residents, and young physicians.

Young Physicians Mentoring Breakfast

This breakfast provides the opportunity for doctors who have recently completed training to network with more experienced physicians and discuss common problems relating to medical practice today, as well as becoming active in the College and advancing to Fellowship.

Associates Luncheon Forum: 2008

Hosted by the ACP Council of Associates

This luncheon provides a venue for Associate members from across the country to meet their Council of Associates representatives. Learn what is on the agenda of the Council, voice issues and concerns important to local resident communities, and discuss potential resolutions to be forwarded to College leadership. Lunch is provided.

Medical Student Mentoring Breakfast

Fourth Annual Internal Medicine Residency Fair
