Instructions for using College Calendar
Viewing and Searching the calendar
When the calendar is first loaded it displays all the events for any given month. Each event is color coded to each event type. The Event Type Legend is located at the top of the page, just below the ACP Online banner. You can click an event type to view just those particular events. If you use this option the events are displayed by month e.g. if you just want to view all Courses available you can click the Courses link within the legend, the calendar will return only courses. If you wish to reload all the events you must click "Remove Filter" which appears at the top of the page.
Click on any event for a more detailed description of the event including Date, Time, Location, Contact, and full notes on the event. Event details are launched in a pop-up window.
To change year and month just click on the desired month or year with the blue menu bar titled "Navigate."
You can also view the calendar by Year, Week, Month, and Day. These options can be found at the bottom of the calendar with the "Display" menu.
Events can also be viewed in the "List" option which will list all the event information in a list format.
To search the calendar use the search option in the "This Calendar" menu bar at the bottom of the calendar. You can search using a simple text string. You can also search through particular categories and specific date ranges. The search results are displayed in list format.
The filter option is similar to a search except the results are displayed in whatever view you are using. You can use this option to filter particular events you wish to view. To view all events again you must click "Remove Filter" at the top of the page.
Printing the calendar
Click the "Printer Friendly Format" link beneath the legend bar. Then go to the "print" option in your browser and print as you would any other web page.
