The IMIG Sponsorship Program is now accepting applications!
ACP’s IMIG Sponsorship Program provides funding to internal medicine interests groups in U.S. medical schools. Participating clubs will receive $200 in the fall to help kick-off their activities. Each IMIG group has an opportunity to earn additional funding by recruiting their peers to become ACP Medical Student Members by December 31, 2011. Here’s how it works:
- Complete the online IMIG Sponsorship Application by August 1, 2011.
- If your medical school recruits 30% or more of the total student body* to become ACP Medical Student Members by December 31, 2011, your club earns an additional $2.00** per Medical Student Member.
- If your medical school recruits less than 30% of the total student body* to become ACP Medical Student Members by December 31, 2011, your club earns an additional $1.00** per Medical Student Member.
*ACP uses enrollment data obtained from the AAMC Directory of Medical Education.
** Total sponsorship funding cannot exceed $1000 per school, including the initial $200.
