New ACP brochure educates patients on the risk of stroke
The College has recently issued "Reducing Your Risk of Stroke," the latest in the ACP Special Reports series of patient education brochures.
The new brochure identifies types of stroke, risk factors and what to do if stroke strikes. It also suggests preventive measures that patients can take to protect themselves from common conditions that can lead to stroke.
"Managing the ABCs of Diabetes" is another current title available in the series. Coming soon are series brochures on peripheral artery disease and asthma.
You can download electronic copies of ACP Special Reports online. You can also order free packs of 100 brochures online.
