Smallpox Vaccine
On December 12, 2002, President Bush announced a multi-phase plan to administer the smallpox vaccine to 500,000 members of the military, 500,000 front line health care workers, and eventually 10 million additional health care workers, police officers, firefighters, and other emergency personnel.
