National Guideline Clearinghouse (NGC)
NGC is a public resource for evidence based clinical practice guidelines. In addition to this Web-based site for guidelines, the National Guidelines Clearinghouse has a limited supply of NGC tutorials available on CD-ROM. The tutorial walks the user through a series of informative demonstrations and scenarios on using NGC. The tutorial can be run on Windows or Macintosh operating systems, using Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator browsers with a minimum of 32 MB of RAM, a sound card and speakers. The CD-ROM is available free of charge by calling the AHRQ Publications Clearinghouse at 1-800-358-9295.
