Mini but Mighty Skills Sessions

(Non-ticketed) Exhibit Hall AB

Participate in a series of 15-minute micro sessions to enhance well-being, career and professional development, and academic skills. Several different sessions will be featured each day.

Mini but Mighty Schedule

Well-being Fun Zone

Increase your well-being, build new communities, and strengthen old ones, and connect with colleagues outside of sessions by participating in a selection of fun activities. Create your career vision board, participate in gratitude exercises, take part in fun photo opportunities, and enjoy some sweet treats.

Selfie Frames
Gather old and new friends and take photos with fun selfie frames and Boston-themed props to memorialize your visit at Internal Medicine Meeting 2024. Share your photo on social media with colleagues, friends, and family members and see fellow attendees’ pictures at #IMProud.

Fun Ribbons
Collect a variety of fun ribbons to attach to your name badge and let your personality shine.

Career Wisdom Board
What is the best career advice you have received? Share and learn more career advice at the Career Wisdom Corner.

Gratitude Activity
Write down one to three things you are grateful for today. Post it onto the selfie frame and capture a photo for future inspiration.

Support System Activity
Name one to three people from your support system (family, friends, and community) who support you and inspire you to believe in yourself. Take a selfie and share it with them!

Vision Board
Envision your professional journey over the next five years and create a career vision board that encapsulates your goals, aspirations, and key milestones.

ACP Physician Peer Coaching

Trained coaches are providing 30-minute one-on-one personalized Career Coaching sessions and 30-minute group coaching sessions. (Sessions are sold out.)

Abstract and Posters Competition

Hundreds of award-winning posters and abstracts will be displayed for viewing and judging in the Career and Professional Development Center. View and discuss posters created by Early Career Physicians, Residents and Fellows in-training, and Medical Students. Poster types include Basic Research, Clinical Research, Quality Improvement-Patient Safety, High Value Care, Physician Well-Being and Professional Fulfillment, and Clinical Vignettes.

View nationwide job postings, meet with potential employers, and benefit from free, valuable services to assist in your search.

  • Browse active job openings—stop by the Job Placement Center to peruse job openings by region, or browse available positions on the meeting app.
  • Be seen by potential employers—submit a Physician Profile and CV to be seen by participating employers.
  • Register for CV Review—make a free appointment on-site to have your CV reviewed and get pointers on how to get your CV to work for you.
  • Get assistance navigating the J1 Visa Process—register on-site for a free consultation to meet with an immigration lawyer who will answer your questions regarding the process.
