Papule: a small, solid, elevated lesion

 

Vesicle: a small, elevated lesion filled with clear fluid

 

Eschar: Thick dried scab

 

Nodule: a palpable, solid, round or oval lesion

 

Pustule: a small, circumscribed, elevated lesion containing prurulent material

 

Macule: a flat rash

 

Maculopapular: consisting of both macules and papules; describes an eruption in which some lesions are flat and some are elevated

 

Crust: a formed outer layer of dried serum, blood, or prurulent exudate on the surface of the skin. It can be thick and adherent.

 

Umbilication: dimpling
