State Health Policy Networking Session Summary
State Issues Probed at 2006 State Health Policy Networking Session in Philadelphia
Approximately 40 representatives from 22 chapters attended the 2006 ACP State Health Policy Networking Session on April 5 in Philadelphia. Attendees participated in discussions on: Rhode Island’s MinuteClinic experience; Maryland’s patient safety center; an action plan for chapters to avert the collapse of primary care and the role of the advanced medical home; how chapters can help their members access ACP resources to improve quality; regional electronic data exchange; status of liability reform in Washington State and at the federal level; and third party relations issues.
