ACP Relationships with Industry
The American College of Physicians is committed to professionalism and ethics in medicine and has always had a transparent approach to our relationship with industry partners. ACP was the first medical professional society to develop policy and standards about physicians and industry relations in 1990.
ACP is proud to be in full compliance with the Council on Medical Specialties (CMSS) Code for Interaction with Companies, which aligns with ACP’s policies on professionalism and ethics as expressed in our Ethics Manual, the Charter on Medical Professionalism, and our physician-industry papers.
