MLE Global Network
As a service of the American College of Physicians (ACP), the Medical Laboratory Evaluation (MLE) program provides Proficiency Testing (PT) service to a wide array of public and private clinical laboratories in 20 countries while continuing to explore opportunities around the world.
This external form of multilaboratory comparison makes a cost effective and safe mechanism for checking performance. MLE provides three testing events over the course of the year to challenge the laboratory’s assays with unknown samples. The samples provided contain analyte levels that range from normal to abnormal.
Meeting Market Needs through Innovation and Collaboration
MLE works with Ministries of Health and other international regulatory agencies to introduce PT in a particular country or to expand PT service options. We would like to work with you to bring this valuable service to your country.
