International Chapters

The College has been engaged in International Activities for 80 years once it established chapters outside of the United States. Chapters were established in Canada in 1927, Central America in 1928, Mexico in 1941, Chile in 1984, Brazil in 1992, and Venezuela in 1994.

There has been increased interest from other countries in Latin America and from abroad to establish additional chapters of the College. In conjunction with the development of a Five Year Business Plan to Expand International Activities, the Board of Regents approved Guidelines for the Establishment of Chapters in Latin America at its October 2001 meeting and Guidelines for Chapters Outside the Americas at the April 2002 meeting. In 2003, Japan established the first Chapter outside the Americas
