Visa Information (For Non-US Passport Holders)
Important: A visa may be required for non-US passport holders when entering Canada and re-entering the U.S.A!
ACP has partnered with Citizenship and Immigration Canada to assist visitors in obtaining the documents necessary for travel.
Non-US citizens visiting Canada may also require a visa (TRV) except citizens of countries where an exception has been granted. Visas may also be required for non-US passport holders to re-enter the USA.
International Medical Graduates (IMGs) currently in the US should contact the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) at http://www.ecfmg.org for information regarding visas.

New ESTA Requirements
Effective January 12, 2009, all travelers entering the United States (by air or sea) from one of the 35 countries under the Visa Waiver Program are required to hold a valid Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA). Recently, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) transitioned to an enforced compliance of the ESTA for the Visa Waiver Program travelers. U.S.-bound travelers are recommended to apply for an ESTA at least 72 hours prior to departure.
