Council of Young Physicians
Charge
To advise the Board of Regents on enhancing the professional development and quality of life for young physicians, fostering their involvement in College activities, ensuring their professional needs are being met, and increasing the value of ACP membership for young physicians.
Composition (11)
Chair, who serves ex-officio on the BOR; Chair-Elect, who serves ex-officio on the BOG; 8 members selected from each of the following regional zones: Northeastern, Southern, Midwestern, and Western Zones of the United States; 1 at-large member. All members must be young physicians at the time of election to the Council (defined as within 16 years of graduation from medical school).
