Vision Statement
As a longstanding active member, I am honored to be a candidate for Governor of the Wisconsin Chapter. I have been enriched by my involvement on the chapter’s council and committees and my attendance at the annual chapter meetings. If elected, I will strive to effectively work to continue the traditions of our active chapter and to keep it relevant to internal medicine specialists and subspecialists in large and small practices and to residents and fellows. I will work to attract medical students to the specialty of internal medicine. I will endeavor to work at the national level of ACP to represent the ideals and interests of the members of the Wisconsin chapter in the areas of legislative policy and advocacy and of development of positions in matters of healthcare financing and organization, access to healthcare, ethical and practice standards, and other areas in which ACP is actively engaged.
