Associate and Medical Student Presenters at Internal Medicine 2010

We are honored to have two Associate members and two Medical Student members represent our Chapter at Internal Medicine 2010 in Toronto.

  • Scott E Johnson, MD from University of Vermont Program was selected as a 2010 Associates Clinical Vignette - Poster Finalist for a poster titled: Non-traumatic rib fracture: An unusual presentation of extranodal marginal zone lymphoma.
  • Sukit M Ringwala, MD from University of Vermont Program was selected as a Associates Basic Research - Poster Finalist for a poster titled: Antiplatelet Effects of Rivaroxaban, a Direct Acting Inhibitor of Factor Xa.
  • Shohei Ikoma from University of Vermont was selected as a Student Clinical Research - Poster Finalist for a poster titled: REFERRAL PATTERNS BETWEEN ALLOPATHIC PHYSICIANS AND COMPLEMENTARY AND ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE PRACTITIONERS.
  • Andrew J Eyre from University of Vermont was selected as a Student Quality Improvement/Patient Safety - Poster Finalist for a poster titled: What You Don't Know Can Hurt You: Communicating Health Law with Vermont Physicians.
