Chapter Meeting Recognition

The Chapter enjoys recognizing members who have dedicated their time and energy to promote the success of the Utah Chapter of the American College of Physicians.

Laureate Award

This year the Chapter presented Martin C. Gregory, MD, PhD, FACP with the 2007 Utah Chapter Laureate Award. The Laureate Award honors Fellows and Masters of the College who have demonstrated an abiding commitment to excellence in medical care, education, or research and in service to their community, their Chapter, and the American College of Physicians.

C. DuWayne Schmidt Community Service Award

This year the chapter presented Kenneth N. Buchi, MD, FACP with the 2007 C. DuWayne Schmidt Community Service Award. It requires years of service and commitment to be considered for this distinguished award, and we thank Dr. Buchi for his great example.
