The May 4-5 reading retreat at the new Pickwick Landing Inn on preventive medicine will feature two general internists who are fellows in the College and teaching award winners - Dr. Jim Bailey and Dr. Robin Womeodu. Both are associate professors of medicine at the University of Tennessee and hold joint appointments in the Division of General Internal Medicine and the Department of Preventive Medicine. Dr. Bailey is division chief of general internal medicine, and Dr. Womeodu is research coordinator for the division. Both physicians spend significant time providing care and teaching residents in clinics and on the wards.

Registrants will be mailed a packet of articles two to three weeks prior to the retreat. The discussants will meet with retreat attendees from 8 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday and Sunday to review key articles that should impact how you put prevention to work in your daily practice. There will be ample time for questions and answers.
